Woven forms

Structural weaves are an exploration of delicate hand woven fold-able weaves that open up to create soft ephemeral forms. Continuing with my narrative of inter-sectional planes the three structures shown here are unique in their implementation and utilize the structural properties of natural fibers (linen , hemp) and the diaphanous quality of nylon.

I love playing with perception. Whether to create a sense of derealization to allow for a moment of calm or to dilute the surrounding information to alter it’s impact on oneself.
The subtle distraction caused by muted patterns across planes also add to the change in perception of the surroundings.
