Sanya Sharma is a Textile artist and designer. She expresses her dreams, beliefs and realities through traditional textile techniques. Her work incorporates natural materials, slow and tedious processes, and subtle details. She uses these to create spatial experiences by weaving surfaces beyond the two-dimensional confines of conventional textiles.
Sanya received her B.Des from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, India and graduated with a masters (MFA) in Textiles from Parsons School of Design, New York.
