PARSONS X OBEETEE
During an exciting collaboration of MFA Textiles, Parsons School of Design with the prestigious rug manufacturing company Obeetee we were tasked with determining the future of rugs in the 21st century. The project came together as a group effort of the entire MFA Textiles batch with focusing on various aspects and was exhibited at the OBEETEE showroom in New York in September, 2019. I teamed up with Jeremy Ripley to integrate traditional floor loom weaving with touch sensing technology to prototype ideas for aesthetic directional rugs imagined to be utilized in domestic, hospitality and commercial environments.
