PLACES THROUGH TIME
This series is an exploration of 3 complex weave structures namely Leno, Backed fabric and Imitation inlay. The details and subtle textures have been added through tapestry and handpicking techniques. The use of a variety of yarn thicknesses is what makes the texture come alive. I use subtle yarn variations in a lot of my work to create depth and add detail.
