SPRING - SUMMER 2015 (AKAARO)

handloom-apparel-clothing-akaaro

A collection of handwoven fabrics designed for the Spring - Summer 2015 collection for Akaaro.

Akaaro is a luxury apparel brand innovating Indian fashion by designing and developing original fabrics in-house at the studio-workshop in New Delhi and engineered garments that are one-of-a-kind timeless & experiential classics. For this collection I derived my concept from a song “We might be dead by tomorrow” - SOKO

The video is dull with technicolor highlights and moments celebrating life and hence I wanted this collection to bring about the playful quality of subtle electric colors as a means to bring joy and cheer in the dull Indian Summer.
